"Our coach made sure we had plenty of opportunities to play beyond our regularly scheduled seasonal games. These extra opportunities provided the girls with plenty of time for bonding with their teammates."

"The team attitude, the spirit and energy of the coaches, the feeling that you're learning something and getting better -- all of these things my daughter has felt being a part of SnoLax Girls Lacrosse family."

"Our coaches have always made it a priority to work with the girls on their individual strengths, weaknesses, and goals while delivering a message about character and accountability. We couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere for our daughter to learn how to work hard while having fun."

Fundraising & Why We Need It

We run fundraisers each season to offset the costs of our program.

Registration fees account for only 50-60% of the cost of running our club. The remainder of our expenses are paid for through fundraising and sponsorships. This year we will be introducing a lot of new ways you can participate in fundraising, so if one type of fundraiser doesn’t appeal to you, you can participate in a different way.

We have included a $50 (refundable) fundraising fee in our registration this year. Upon your child reaching their individual fundraising goal, this fee will be refunded to you.

This fee alone is not enough to make up the difference from registration. We hope to spur some competitive spirit into our fundraisers to encourage each player to reach for the sky rather than simply meeting a minimum.

These fundraisers are important to our goal of keeping registration fees low, bringing more parents and players into our lacrosse community, and helping support our mission to increase accessibility to the sport of lacrosse for all interested girls.

More details on program fundraisers will be communicated to players and parents before and during the season.

Volunteers Needed

Our club is a volunteer run organization. Our club cannot continue to run without volunteers. Apart from needing volunteers to help run the club, coach, fundraise, etc., we need 3-5 volunteers just to run a game.

We have included a $50 (refundable) volunteer fee in our registration this year. For every volunteer hour provided by a friend or family member on behalf of a player, the player will receive $10 back up to $50. These hours include any volunteer time between registration and the end of Cascade Cup.

We are currently looking for pre-season volunteers for the following:

  • Cascade Cup committee (4 people)
  • Equipment Manager for Youth
  • Equipment Manager for High School
  • Treasurer

We will provide everyone with more details of volunteer opportunities and how hours will be tracked in a separate communication.

Uniforms & Equipment

You will need to purchase a uniform if you are new to the club, the high school team, or if replacement pieces are needed.

A full uniform is required to participate in games.

Uniforms are purchased directly from the vendor.

Assigned Jersey Number

An assigned jersey number is needed to register and to order both the pinnie and high school uniform.

Please use our Jersey Number Selector form to choose your jersey number. Once a jersey number is assigned, it will stick with your player throughout their full career with SnoLax Girls Lacrosse. Not all numbers will be available as they may already be taken by returning players.

Returning players: If you've lost your jersey/uniform and do not remember your number, please reach out to the Registrar.

Youth Players

The youth game uniform consists of a reversible red/white pinnie and your choice of black athletic bottoms. It is recommended to have at least one pair of both black athletic shorts and black athletic pants for wear depending on the weather.

For youth, the pinnie is both the practice jersey and game uniform.

Order your Youth Pinnie

Please order early so your player will have their pinnie prior to the first practice.

High School Players

The High School uniform consists of the practice pinnie, black jersey, white jersey and red skirt. The HS jersey is customized with the player name.

Order your Practice Pinnie

Please order early so your player will have their pinnie prior to the first practice.

Order your Game Jerseys (both black and white) and Skirt

New HS uniforms must be ordered by January 31, 2025.

Other Equipment

A girls lacrosse stick, facemask, and mouthguard are required equipment.

Headgear (helmet) is an optional replacement for the facemask. Headgear must meet the ASTM F3137-15 standard set by SEI. There is currently only one brand (Cascade) that makes a certified helmet. The LX18 or newer LXP.
For additional information on girls headgear please visit: https://www.usalacrosse.com/womens-lacrosse-headgear-faq

Athletic shoes/cleats/turf shoes

Most practices and home games will be held on a turf field. Regular grass cleats should not be worn on turf as this is a leading cause of injury from the dynamic start/stop movements in lacrosse. While turf shoes are preferred for the best traction on turf surfaces, normal athletic shoes will suffice, especially at the younger youth levels.

Some practices and away games may be held on grass, for which grass cleats are preferred, especially when wet--which is common in the spring season. While there are lacrosse specific cleats, soccer cleats are a reasonable alternative.

Additional information with regards to standard equipment, including recommendations for beginning players will be sent is a separate communication. If there are any questions with regards to gear, please reach out to our Youth Director at [email protected].
